Verify your email domain so that communications from your learning platform are sent from your domain, rather than system@coursegenius.com


If you aren't technical

  • Send this article to your IT team, or directly to your DNS or Domain Name provider, they will know what to do! 


If you are technical

  1. Configure SPF and DKIM for your learning platform

  2. Create a new ticket (or email us at support@coursegenius.com) to let us know that this has been done.

  3. We will verify that these settings have been configured correctly by you

  4. You will receive an email from Mandrill with the subject 'Verify your domain for Mandrill'. Forward this email to us: support@coursegenius.com along with your learning platform name (name.coursegenius.com)

  5. We will notify you when verification is complete. When this is done, all emails from your learning platform will be sent from your configured email address.


What happens if I don't verify my email domain with CourseGenius?

  • If your email is not verified, emails from your learning platform will display the sender information as: From: Your Organisation's Name <system@coursegenius.com>
  • If your email is verified, emails from your learning platform will display the sender information as From: Your Organisation's Name <youremail@yourorganisation.com>

Note: If your learners reply to an email from your learning platform, this reply will be sent to your configured email address whether or not you have verified your email domain.
