What is this for?

  • If you currently use (or want to start using) MailChimp for creating and sending email campaigns, you can configure your platform to automatically add new Learners to your mailing list.

Before You Start
  • If you don't already have a MailChimp account, please sign up for a MailChimp account first
  • If you already have a MailChimp account, log in to MailChimp and follow the steps below

  1. Find your API Key
    1. Once you've signed in to MailChimp, you'll see your name (or the name of the account holder) on the left hand side, - click this
    2. Click Account
    3. On the next page, click Extras and from the dropdown select API Keys
    4. Under Your API Keys, click Create a key
    5. There will now be a box with a string of numbers and letters  - this is your API key (note this down)

  2. Find or create a List
    1. If you haven't yet created any mailing lists, click Lists on the left - from here you can create mailing lists and see all your existing lists
    2. Note the name of the list you would like configured with your platform

  3. Email us at support@coursegenius.com or create a new ticket with the following information:
    1. Your API key
    2. The name of the mailing list you would like configured (this is important - otherwise we may not know which list to configure!)
